The business cycle combined with the real estate cycle imposes a tremendous impact upon our society.
Without the stimulus of increased real estate activity, where the forces of demand create a voracious appetite to consume available supply, the business cycle will remain in its lackadaisical through languishing for those forces to provide the jump-start for an upward climb into the ether of prosperity.
The early 1990s found our country struggling to get back on its economic feet. That very crucial impetus needed from real estate activity has been woefully lacking. Even though tools of stimuli, such as the most attractive mortgage rates in years coupled with bargain properties prevailing, the takers have been few and far between.
