His top Deputy and Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission, General Chun Wang, and his tight-knit generals, who plan to stop him with the covert help of the U.S., specifically his long-term friend and US counterpart, General Robert G. Lundy, Director of the National Counterterrorism Council, (NCTC).

Wang and the PLA top leaders oppose ‘Big Ming’s’ betrayal of Deng Xiaoping’s reformist line, to which they hope to return, and advocate reconciliation with the United States. Big Ming has cut into their lucrative corrupt businesses, which runs counter to 40 years of Deng’s economic bennies. So, this is just business. That’s the way they see it.

The Knives have definitely come out inside the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)

In essence, the CCP is nothing more than a mafia organization. It’s not a political party.

The head of the party is the “Don”, Big Ming, and below him sit the underbosses, or the Standing Committee.

These men traditionally parcel out power, with each responsible for certain areas—foreign policy, the economy, personnel, anticorruption, and so on.

They are also supposed to serve as the big boss’s consiglieres, advising him on their areas of responsibility.

Outside the Standing Committee are the other 18 members of the Politburo, who are next in the line of succession for the Standing Committee.

They can be thought of as the mafia’s capos, carrying out the Don’s orders to eliminate perceived threats in the hope of staying in the good graces of the him.

As a perk of their position, they are allowed to enrich themselves as they see fit, seizing property and businesses without penalty.

And like the mafia, the party uses blunt tools to get what it wants: bribery, extortion, even violence.

So, when the “Don” put the economy into a COVID Deep Freeze, millions died, thousands of business went bankrupt, and that flow of corrupt money stopped dead in its tracks!

Big Ming is backed into a corner and to preserve his absolute power, he’s taking a page out of the “Dictators Playbook”! Start a War! He’s plagued by secret fears and private demons. Dictators start wars against enemies real and imagined, because they can crack down on political opposition and remain in power if the fight goes badly.
